Manuscript Types:

SCLT welcomes the following five types of manuscripts in Chinese or English:
  1. Research papers  (click to see format and content requirements)
  2. Pedagogical reports (click to see format and content requirements)
  3. Forum entry  (click to see format and content requirements)
  4. Reviews of books and software  (click to see format and content requirements)
  5. Student work  (click to see format and content requirements)

Submission Guidelines:

All submissions should include two or three of the following files. All files need to be submitted to sclt-submission@lists.andrew.cmu.edu

Please name all your files in the following format: SCLT_Manuscript type and name_File type_Date (e.g. SCLT_01 Research Paper_Abstract_20170101)

  • Coversheet (Required for all submission)
    • Please include the title of your manuscript on your coversheet
    • ​​Please also include the following information on your cover sheet: your name, your school affiliation, your contact information (email, phone, etc.)
    • If the manuscript is a student work, please also include the faculty advisor's name, school affiliation and contact information on the cover sheet.
 
  • Abstract (Required only for research paper and pedagogical report, forum entry is welcome to include an abstract but is not required) 
    • Please include the title of your manuscript on your abstract page
    • Please DO NOT include your name or any other information that may reveal your identity on the abstract page.
    • The abstract should be written in both Chinese and English (400 words maximum for each language) 
    • Keywords in both Chinese and English (maximum 5 words)
 
  • Manuscript (Required for all submission)
    • ​Please include the title of your manuscript
    • Please DO NOT include your name or any other information that may reveal your identity in your manuscript.
    • Please proofread your content for mistakes or typos before submission (For format and content requirements, please refer to the manuscript types links above)
